are highly interactive and entertaining training adventures
that include games, skits, puppets, props and sing-alongs.
Organizations can schedule workshops for a set number
of people individually or as part of a conference program.

Camp
Happy Media
This beginner and intermediate workshop is for early
childhood administrators and those who serve as their
organizations liasion to the local press. Enjoy
fun and fellowship at Camp Happy Media while you learn
tips and techniques for promoting your program in the
press and creating mutual partnerships with reporters.
Fish in the Press Pond and learn how to use the correct
"bait" to "hook" reporters with
your story idea. Take a nature walk and observe the
natural behaviors of media creatures. Practice your
wilderness survival skills as you learn how to master
the media interview. End this session a happy camper
with a group sing-along around the campfire.
The Eyes Have It
This beginner and intermediate workshop is designed
for administrative professionals who design in-house
publications targeted to families. Participants learn
how to communicate effectively though design by taking
an eye exam to see effective choices in pictures, patterns
and type. Spin the "Color Wheel of Fortune"
to learn about color compliments and the moods that
colors create. Put your newfound knowledge to the test
at the "Critique Roadshow" where exquisite
pieces of design are appraised and auctioned.
The
Amazing Message
This beginner and intermediate workshop on effective
communication of early childhood issues is designed
for early childhood professionals, child advocates and
parents. Participants hatch a plot to change the world
through widespread hypnosis. Learn how to form effective
messages simply by looking in a crystal ball. The psychic
abilities of the "Great Brain" highlight the
ineffectiveness of jargon in communication. The importance
of message timing is revealed in a musical chairs game
"Mind Boggle".
